Cass Sculpture Foundation

Cass Sculpture Foundation is an independent commissioning body dedicated to commissioning new work from emerging and established artists. It was developed as a charitable foundation in 1992 by Wilfred and Jeannette Cass. The Foundation's 26 acre grounds are home to an ever-changing display of 80 monumental sculptures, all of which are available for sale with the proceeds going directly to artists.
By combining the best of philanthropic and commercial commissioning models, we are able to continually commission and show new sculpture. To date the Foundation has helped produce over 400 works. Over 400 contemporary sculptures in the past 20 years. All have been available for sale through the foundation, with proceeds going directly to the artist.

New England Sculptors Association

The New England Sculptors Association, organized in 1948 and one of the oldest sculptors associations in the United States, represents a diverse membership of nationally and regionally recognized sculptors. NESA members work and show throughout the world, and are represented in numerous private and museum collections. NESA, with an increasingly expanding membership, eagerly reaches out to aspiring as well as established sculptors. Its members are selected by jury and work in a variety of media.

Royal Society of British Sculptors

In 1905 the Society had 51 members, including all the leading sculptors of the day, many of whom were internationally recognised. In recognition of their achievements, it received royal patronage in 1911 and became the Royal Society of British Sculptors. The principle aims of the Society have been variously interpreted over the years but there has always been a strong educational element in its activities, with respect to both professional standards and public knowledge/awareness. In recognition of this it was given charitable status in 1963. In this decade it was also generously bequeathed the premises it still occupies by the late sculptor Cecil Thomas.

In the 1990s it began an active exhibition programme by opening a Gallery at its headquarters and mounting large off site shows. This period of renewed activity attracted artists worldwide and in 2003 the Society recognised its growing number of internationally based sculptors as full members by changing its name and constitution to become the Royal British Society of Sculptors.

Washington Sculptors Group

The Washington Sculptors Group is a non-profit corporation founded in 1984. It's mission is to promote an awareness and an understanding of sculpture and foster the exchange of ideas among sculptors, collectors, and the general public by organizing frequent events, including artists' panels, presentations, workshops, and social gatherings. WSG, singly and in cooperation with other organizations, plans, manages and promotes important curated exhibitions in galleries, museums and alternative spaces in the Washington, DC area and beyond. WSG received the Washington, DC Mayor's Arts Award for ?Excellence in Service to the Arts.?
